In the pediatric gastroenterology consultation, I take care of any complaints that children have in the digestive area. Complaints such as acute and chronic abdominal pain, food intolerances such as cow's milk allergy, constipation or diarrhea, liver diseases or celiac disease are clarified and cared for in my consultation. 

 

I offer sonographic examinations, laboratory diagnostics such as blood tests, stool tests for signs of inflammation and pathogenic germs, H2 breath tests to clarify fructose malabsorption, lactose intolerance and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, as well as the C13 urea breath test to determine colonization with Helicobacter pylori in the stomach.

• Congenital or acquired liver diseases of all kinds in children (e.g. autoimmune hepatitis, infectious hepatitis, biliary atresia, Alagille syndrome, etc.).

• Clarification of elevated LFT’s (liver values)

• Enlargements of the liver
